Al-Umma Awareness Initiative is an NGO duly registered by CAC with Registration number 7288036. It is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, non-governmental organization formed by associates and friends of Hon. Gambo Paul Tase, to create awareness among the peoples across Nigeria and specifically Kebbi state. It is crafted envisioning a thriving Nigeria, characterized by elevated living standards, enhanced health outcomes, education levels and elevated entrepreneurial norms, all stemming from the abundant natural and human resources bestowed upon the nation.
This is achievable by pursuing the following aims and objectives set down by the NGO:
1. Utilisation and promotion of the resources to enlighten the ignorant populace on the imperatives of equity in governance to guarantee community needs, social welfare, high standards of living and the common good, through good governance and accountable stewardship.
2. To raise awareness about citizens’ rights and responsibilities, and to empower Nigerian youths, women, and the girl child socially and economically.
This initiative is part of job creation efforts aimed at fostering meaningful living and eradicating poverty and ignorance among the populace.
3. Proactively convene, partner and collaborate with citizens to create awareness on the need for effective public health, wellness and longevity as well as the importance of a green economy.
